Max is actually a tragic story. We pulled him from the shelter, and he never made it home from isolation at the vet's office. Since he had never been vaccinated, he had contracted any number of potentially fatal diseases in his time on the street or his time in the shelter.
I only spent the afternoon with him, driving from the shelter to the vet's office so he could be checked. I miss him anyway. Considering how much of the back seat he filled, we would have needed a second bed if he had made it home. |
